COMPANY PROFILE
The Szanton Company specializes in new construction of mixed income housing in "infill" locations in or near downtowns. The principals formed the company as an outgrowth of a successful consulting firm that provided development project management services to non-profit agencies and local housing authorities. Since its inception, The Szanton Company has completed three new construction development projects. Two of the buildings are located in Portland, ME, one with twenty-seven apartments and one with forty apartments. The most recent project, a 30-unit apartment building, is located in Exeter, NH and opened in September 2007.
