48 Hampshire is The Szanton Company's contribution to the ongoing revitalization of the Hampshire Street neighborhood in downtown Auburn. It involved the ground-up construction of 53 mixed-income apartments on the site of a former City-owned parking lot. The site is a block from Auburn's beautiful Renaissance Revival library. It's also within easy walking distance of pharmacies, banks, post office, eateries, coffee shops, the YMCA, a Hannaford supermarket, and the Auburn Riverwalk. 

48 Hampshire provides a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, many with views of the Lewiston skyline, the library, and Auburn Heights. Included with the rent are heat, hot water, off-street parking, wi-fi, fitness center, community room, and secure, indoor bike storage. 48 Hampshire opened its doors to residents in 2020.
