The Lofts at Bates Mill, our first Lewiston project, is the adaptive re-use of an 1854 Bates Manufacturing Company textile mill, Mill #2.
The property features 25 one-bedroom, 16 two-bedroom, and 7 three-bedroom apartments, with ample community spaces, including a fitness center and two community rooms.
The Lofts is the first apartment housing built in Lewiston’s Mill District. It completely transformed the west façade of this classic redbrick mill structure. Features of the property include 13-foot ceilings, exposed timber framing, large windows with abundant natural light, and an expansive view to the Androscoggin River across Fountain Park and the Bates Mill Complex. The Lofts is a two-block walk to the heart of downtown Lewiston, with its public library, shops, restaurants, and bus lines.
