Picker House Lofts will create 72 new apartments, our part in revitalizing the Continental Mill in Lewiston. Done in conjunction with Chinburg Builders, this project will breathe new life into the area while maintaining commitment to historic preservation.

A mixed-income property, Picker House is across the street from Lionel Potvin park, abutting the Androscoggin River, and near Lewiston’s Farmers’ Market, local restaurants and businesses, two museums, and the large Simard-Payne Memorial Park with its outdoor fitness court. The property will also have a roof deck to enjoy views of the Androscoggin River; wi-fi; off-street parking; indoor bicycle storage; and an indoor fitness area.

The Continental Mill was originally built in 1858, renamed and expanded in 1866, and at one point employed 1,200 people. Since its use as a cotton mill, it has housed a shoe company, guitar company, and a competitive cheerleading center. With approximately 560,000 square feet and 560 feet of river frontage, the property has great potential to expand the downtown area to the river's edge.

Construction began February 2023, with occupancy expected in early 2025.
