Milliken Heights will bring 55 year-round units to the Town Center of Old Orchard Beach. Residency will be age-restricted to those 55 or greater and aimed at a diversity of income levels. Amenities within easy walking distance include a grocery store, post office, pharmacy, bank, hardware store, library, and Maine’s longest beach.

The building will be The Szanton Company’s first built to Passive House energy efficiency standards, creating an exceptionally comfortable and quiet living environment with even temperatures and excellent indoor air quality. The property will also feature wi-fi, off-street parking, a community room, indoor bicycle storage, and original art by Maine artists in community spaces.

Construction began in November 2021 with occupancy expected in early 2023.
