1761 Sugarbowl Grove is the first phase of development at Sugarbowl Grove, a planned 157-unit affordable senior living campus. Located near the intersection of Chelton Road and Academy Boulevard, Sugarbowl Grove is on a 3.6-acre, never-before-developed infill site.
The project is targeted at a Colorado Springs senior population that is rapidly growing and increasingly cost-burdened. The building will feature all-electric and water-efficient design, a photovoltaic array, community garden beds, and a rooftop resident lounge and terrace with stunning views of Pikes Peak and surrounding mountains.
Sugarbowl Grove is adjacent to transit stops on two separate Mountain Metro lines and a Walmart Neighborhood Market, with a public library across the street. It will feature over half a mile of on-site walking paths.
